We were delighted to welcome back Belgian pianist and educator Myriam Ayari as a returning Prem Artist Residency Thailand practitioner, joining us from the Conservatory in Brussels.
During her time on campus, she worked with our Grade 10 students to explore improvisation and composition through listening, response, and experimentation. She also mentored young musicians in the Prem Music Academy through one-to-one sessions and collaborated with our film students to investigate how music can shape the mood and meaning of moving image.
It was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience music not just as performance, but as inquiry, dialogue, and creative discovery.
