Prem Community Raises 55,000 Baht for Nepal Earthquake Relief

When news of the earthquake in Nepal reached campus, the Prem community laced up their trainers and turned concern into action.

Friday Laps took on a special purpose this term. Students, teachers and staff gathered on the track for a fundraiser aimed at raising both awareness and much-needed support for those affected.

The weather had other ideas. Grey skies gave way to steady rain, but it did little to dampen anyone’s spirits. Runners and walkers of every age took to the track side by side, from our youngest learners to members of staff, each completing laps at their own pace and cheering one another on.

What stood out most was the sense of togetherness. The event was a powerful reminder of the care and global responsibility that sit at the heart of Prem: the belief that, wherever we are in the world, we have a part to play in supporting others.

By the end of the day, the community had raised more than 55,000 baht for the International Red Cross relief effort, helping to provide vital assistance to people and families impacted by the disaster.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who ran, walked, donated, organised and cheered. Your generosity has made a real difference.everyone who participated, supported the event, and contributed to this meaningful community effort!
