Dawn Parry is a distinguished educational consultant and university guidance counsellor with over 22 years of international education experience. A fully qualified and licensed teacher in both the UK and Thailand,
Dawn is renowned for her expertise in guiding students through academic pathways and university applications. In 2024, she achieved remarkable success by helping Prem students secure 133 university offers, with 39% from the top 100 universities globally, including two prestigious offers from Ivy League institutions.
Welcome to Prem’s College & Careers Counselling Programme
Our highly experienced counsellors are well-versed in global education systems and work closely with each student to craft a personalised pathway for their career and university journey.
Beginning in Year 9, students receive bespoke guidance from our counsellors, who help them navigate the complexities of future planning. We also use Unifrog, a comprehensive online platform, to assist students in exploring their options and making informed decisions.

As students progress through Years 10 to 12, we focus on documenting all achievements and experiences, ensuring they are well-prepared to showcase their strengths to potential universities and employers. The College Office handles all necessary documentation, provides support for university applications, and assists with any external testing requirements, such as the IELTS and SAT.
With our counsellors’ global expertise and personalised approach, your child will receive the tailored support they need at every step to achieve academic and professional success.
Annual College and Careers Fair
Our aim is to equip students with comprehensive information to help them make informed decisions about their future. Each year, we host a range of events at Prem, including the Annual College, Careers, and University Fair, which features over 100 university representatives and subject specialists from around the world. Additionally, we offer a seminar programme that provides further insights into various fields and opportunities.
Throughout the year, individual university visits are organised, and students can attend external presentations and fairs in Chiang Mai. The College Office team ensures that students and parents are kept informed about all upcoming events and opportunities. We are available to advise students and families across both the Junior and Senior Schools, offering personalised guidance every step of the way.
