INFORMATION

Before your child/children arrive at Prem, all relevant medical information must be provided during the admissions process to ensure the best possible care. This information is kept confidential and securely stored in the Medical Centre/Boarding Clinics.
COMMUNICATION

Parents and guardians are promptly informed if their child receives medical care or in the event of a medical emergency. Our medical team ensures clear and timely communication to keep families fully updated on their child’s health and well-being.
HOSPITAL VISITS

Students occasionally need to visit a hospital, and a nursing or boarding staff member usually accompanies them. Parents are promptly notified by email, with immediate contact if the visit is urgent. For overnight hospital stays, a boarding staff member always accompanies the student, ensuring they receive continuous care at one of Chiang Mai’s top hospitals.
INSURANCE

Prem has partnered with Allianz Ayudhya, a leading global health insurance provider, to offer a comprehensive medical insurance package for all boarding students. Participation in this Medical Plan is mandatory for boarding students and is included in the boarding school fees. The plan also includes accident and emergency coverage for day students, ensuring that all students are protected and receive quality medical care when needed.
FIRST AID TRAINING

Faculty and staff receive first aid training through the Emergency First Response (EFR) first aid course. Each year, 30 faculty members, including all boarding staff and a diverse group from across the school, complete this essential training. This ensures that our entire team is well-prepared to handle medical emergencies effectively and provide immediate care.
STUDENT WELL-BEING AND SUPPORT

Prem offers comprehensive student support services, with dedicated counselors available to the entire school community, including boarding students. These counselors provide assistance and support outside of school hours, ensuring that all students have access to help whenever needed.
