Three-Generation Farm: Sustainable Learning
Traidhos Three-Generation farm offers  hands-on learning experiences that connect students with the natural world and teaches  about sustainable agriculture and local wisdom.
Students actively participate in tasks such as planting, harvesting, and tending to animals, fostering a sense of responsibility and an understanding of where their food comes from. Valuable skills including problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking are encouraged while observing the processes of growth, life cycles, and the interdependence of ecosystems.
While engaging with the farm students develop a deeper appreciation for nature, fostering environmental consciousness and encouraging them to make informed choices about their impact on the planet.
An Interconnected Campus
Traidhos Three-Generation Farm showcases the deep interconnection of our campus and how we attempt to integrate sustainability into every aspect of life.
As a dynamic learning space, the farm allows students to explore science, environmental studies, and global issues hands-on. Produce from the farm is used in our canteen, offered to the Traidhos Community, and sold at our monthly Community Market.
This commitment to sustainability was instrumental in Prem being awarded the prestigious ‘Green Flag Status’ by the WWF Eco-Schools program.
