Year 10 Drama: 'Fear Itself'

Year 10 drama students devised and performed two tales of horror for a project entitled ‘Fear Itself’.
Srinithi Bala wrote, performed and designed a shadow play based on a grisly Chinese folklore tale about a fisherman who discovers cursed treasure with gruesome results whilst Steve Parfitt adapted the classic Roald Dahl short story The Landlady into a sinister piece of theatre where he used multi-role acting to play the narrator, the unfortunate lodger and the eponymous Landlady! Filled with moments of tension and a shock that made Ajarn Claire scream, both learners demonstrated a keen awareness of technical theatre production and acting technique for this difficult genre!
