World Maths Day is fast approaching.

From 5 pm on Monday students from all around the world will be logging on to compete against each other in maths challenges to see who can score the most points for their school.  Students can compete against classmates or compete against other students of the same age from around the world. Due to the different time zones around the world the event will run for 48 hours.

Students from grade 3 upwards can participate with the username and password which will be given to them by Monday. Grade 2 parents will receive a seperate email about this optional activity. To log in go to www.mathletics.com or http://www.3plearning.com/worldeducationgames/WMD

Students are welcome to log on before the event and give it a try, but only points earned after 5pm Monday onwards (Thailand Time) count towards the competition.

House points will be awarded to students who answer questions successfully, so please encourage your child to earn points for their house through participation.

Once you have logged into the World Education Games and selected World Maths Day you will arrive in your Mathletics student console. Click the WEG Live Mathletics icon at the top right of the screen where you’ll find everything you’ll need to track your performance and compete in the event. If you are using an iPad or Android tablet, you will need to download the free Mathletics app to access World Maths Day. Links to the apps are below.

If your child doesn't receive your username or password by Monday please contact support@ptis.ac.th and we will send it to you.
