World Maths Day in EY2

Wednesday 7th March – World Maths Day.
Here’s how the EY2 students celebrated World Maths Day with a range of activities.
Measuring and recording the growth of their sunflowers

Using the number line to locate a number
One to one correspondence work – counting and quantifying

Adding two groups together and making a ‘number sentence’. Reading and writing the number sentence.

How do you use Maths at home? Cooking, gardening, planning travel, shopping? How can you highlight these experiences with your children?
Happy World Maths Day everyone!
