The Junior School is gearing up to celebrate World Maths Day on Thursday 13 October 2016. Parents, mark this date in your diaries!
8:15 – 9 am: Gr 1 – 5 Parent Maths Workshop upstairs in the Library. Come along to learn more about Maths in the Junior School. Be prepared to join in some of the activities and investigations that we do in class!
9 am – 10 am: Curriculum in Action. Come and join your child in their homeroom class so they can share with you some of the very clever things they are working on in Maths. A great opportunity for parents to join [Inline image 3] n [Inline image 2] [Inline image 1] their child in class, share their learning and see our Prem Curriculum in action.
Later in the day, our Junior School Council (JSC) is organising a fun Times Table challenge, mate vs mate, House vs House. This will be for interested students in Gr 3-5. Parents, please help your child practice their Times Tables this week and encourage them to participate to earn points for their House.
