Who We Are

The 2018/19 academic year is in full swing, with the IEP moving into its fifth year here at Prem Tinsulanonda International School.

We have a really interesting mix of students and teachers, from all over the world, coming together to share our knowledge and experiences. If a picture could speak one-thousand words, this one would definitely be a message of joy and contentment:

‘IEP is happy!’

I say this with the utmost sincerity; we are a passionate group of caring teachers and curious students; so ‘who is the IEP?’ Let’s take a closer look at our eclectic international team:

A. Casey is from The United States, he’s the director of the IEP; he has been with the team from the start. A. Casey teaches English, yoga and meditation.

A. Sintra is from England and has been teaching drama and art in the IEP for three years now; she is masterful at bringing out and cultivating student creativity, her classes are dynamic and full of FUN.

A. Jun is from China and has been with the IEP since its birth; he is the ‘brilliant mind’ math genius, grammar wizard, and overall English language specialist.

A. Sam is from England, he has many years experience as a primary school teacher; he’s our science ‘guy’, P.E. teacher (the students’ favourite subject!) English teacher and superstar coach. A. Sam recently joined us last year and we’re really fortunate to have him on our team.

Hailing all the way from the ‘Land of the Thunder Dragon’, Bhutan, we have the multitalented teacher and boarding parent, A. Tshering. A. Tshering teaches science and English; a mother of two, she knows what it takes to be a caring house parent! This year we welcome A. Tshering into the IEP as she joins our team.

…and our students are from France; Korea; Japan; China; Thailand and Hong Kong, as you can see we truly are GLOBAL CITIZENS….inspired by meaningful relationships…whose integrity champions a just and more peaceful world.
