Where We Are in Place and Time - Grade 3

The Grade 3 students have been making extensive use of the farm during remote learning with a weekly trip.
This week, students began their new unit of inquiry under the theme ‘Where we are in place and time’ with the central idea, “Present life is shaped by ideas and discoveries of the past.”
The objective of the lesson was to analyse ancient farming tools and techniques and compare them to farming tools and techniques used today. In future sessions, students will explore challenges with modern-day farming and propose solutions for the future.
