The EY3 students have been learning about plants. They enjoyed reading books about different plants, which then inspired them to observe the plants around school.
We went outside with our sketchbooks and sketched as many plants as we could find around the playground. This learning experience allowed the children to slow down, practice being observers, and slowly sketch what they saw.
Students then used the iPads to document some of the plants they had seen around the playground.
We will continue to explore our beautiful campus in hopes that we can find and identify many plants!
