Welcome to our New PSC Chair!

We are absolutely delighted to introduce to our Prem Community the new Chair of the PSC, Dwight Willis. The PSC is an integral part of our community, it is a great place to get to know people in the community and share ideas about education and school life. We caught up with Dwight to find out a bit more about him and what his hopes are for the PSC this year.

Congratulations on becoming the Chair of our PSC community! What attracted you to step up into this role? I have a 10-year-old attending Prem School in Grade 5, and I am in Chiang Mai for the long term, so I wanted to play my part and help the school. I would recommend any parent who wants to make a difference in the school to join the PSC or become a class or cultural ambassador.

How long have you lived in Thailand/ Been at Prem? I first attended Silapakorn University in Thailand when I was in my early 20’s. Since then I have worked overseas for many years and have now been in Chiang Mai for the last 8 years. I am a co-founder of a Fintech company based in Chiang Mai called Dollarsmart Global.

What do you love about Prem and what made it stand out to you as a parent? I loved the space, facilities and first-class education. I wanted my son to have a top-class international education in Chiang Mai.

What do you hope to bring to your new role on the PSC? To get as many parents as possible involved in the PSC and create a dynamic, fun and vibrant parent community to help the school prosper.

If you could offer one piece of advice to our students what would that be? Stay Strong and resilient, hopefully, we are seeing the end of Covid as a pandemic and we will all be permanently back on campus.

The next PSC meeting will be held on Monday 14th Feb at 8:15 am top floor of the School Library. If you want to get involved in the PSC or have any questions please contact the PSC directly here: pscsecretary@ptis.ac.th.

Stay tuned for some PSC Events coming up soon!
