AGW Fundraiser
This week AGW is running a unique fundraiser, inspired by the French tradition of ‘Le Poisson D’Avril’, which literally translates as […]
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all new members of our Prem International School Community, and an equally heartfelt welcome to our returning families. We hope that you have enjoyed the summer break and that you are now rested and ready for the myriad of challenges that await us.
It is now official that the 2016-2017 school has finally started, as was recorded in our Whole School Welcome Assembly on Wednesday 17th August. Months of discussions, recruitment and planning are safely behind us and we are now beginning to implement an exciting academic year.
Prem is an exciting, dynamic place to engage with learning and at the very heart of learning opportunities is a dynamic teacher. Our teachers care passionately about their chosen profession and work hard to make learning engaging, demanding and rewarding for all of our learners. Indeed for learning to be dynamic it is essential that students, parents, and teachers have the same desire to do great work together and to seek ways to celebrate the individual, and group, successes along the way. We invite you to share our learning journeys and we look forward to discussing your child’s learning at conferences and in independently arranged meetings when needed.
We have completed many developmental projects over the summer, and I am sure that your child will be eager to talk to you about some or all of these over the course of the next few weeks. But what has not changed is our pledge to you to make our vision statement a reality, to provide the platform for individual excellence while fostering the desires for all of our students to help to make tomorrow’s world a better, more equitable and sustainable place than it is today.
We wish you success and look forward to working closely with you as we journey together on that exhilarating roller coaster that is call “international education”.
Yours sincerely,
Alun Cooper
Head of School
