Weeding: hard work & fun!

The IEP students are learning that planting vegetables is only half of the work. They have been returning to their vegetable gardens on the farm weekly to weed and tend to the vegetable beds they built.

The students are learning that gardening is hard work! Some of our students are naturals in the garden, while others take a bit more time to get used to being and working in nature. Overall we feel very fortunate to have a beautiful farm here at PREM school where we can continue to learn valuable lessons outside of the classroom.
While some students worked in the garden, others created beautiful signs for the vegetable beds:

Whether in the garden, or painting beautiful signs, it’s clear we have some really talented students in the IEP!
