Update on Traidhos Barge

This year Traidhos Barge Program is celebrating 25 years of providing environmental education on the Chao Phraya River and at significant sites around Thailand .
It is fitting that as we look back at all that has been achieved, we also begin a new project that will continue for the next 25 years. Our Barge has been retired from active service and is now moored on a pond on the river island of Ko Kret, just outside of Bangkok.
Barge Staff are creating a “garden for learning“ close to the boat and also plan to regenerate the river bank with native species. We are excited at the possibilities for student activities that this new site will offer and that the Barge will still be used as a classroom.
