Update on Campus Security

We have been working throughout the summer and the security fence around the campus is nearly completed, with two small modifications being made over the course of the next few days.  We have finalised the sites of the gates, and their opening times.  The master plan for the gates can be found below for your information.

We have guards at each of the designated posts, with the most important gates being guarded 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

Work is now being finalised on purchasing and installing, the appropriate CCTV cameras as well as additional lighting; particularly near our boarding clusters.

Our emergency evacuation procedures are being modified to harmonise with our new security reality and we are very much indebted to Mr. Jason Ballard for his invaluable assistance in upgrading our security systems and protocols.

You can play your part by please wearing your ID Badge whenever you wish to enter the school.  In the near future, when the final phase of the security upgrade is completed, you will not be allowed to enter the school campus unless you are wearing an appropriate ID Badge.  This is to make absolutely sure that students and adults on our campus are safe.  It is for this reason that we ask for your continuing cooperation.  Thank you.

Sincerely,

Alun Cooper

Head of School
