Tucker the Turtle

Last Friday, our EY3 class had a visit from Tucker the Turtle. Tucker showed the students how to “tuck” inside and take 3 deep breaths before coming out and making decisions. The students were quick to understand why taking three deep breaths and staying calm allows us to think more clearly! We also took turns wearing our “protective shield” to protect us from words we don’t like. The words bounced right off of the shield!

Thank you, Tucker the Turtle for letting us know how you stay so calm!
