The Science Behind Growing Plants

Grade 2 is learning about the scientific method.  They started this unit by investigating rocks and various types of soils in the middle school lab.  Now they are putting their knowledge to the test by developing a hypothesis and guessing which soil will grow their mung bean the best.  They carefully followed the method and already, after one week, we have sprouts.  I can’t wait to see their results.
