As a Traidhos Wellness Program offering, on Saturday 7 November, 2015, ACAM is running The Course in VSP classroom, near Chum Shop.
In this day long course, you will learn the fundamentals of mindfulness. The practice has been proven to reduce stress, improve focus and attention, and regulate emotions. You can sign up here
The objective of this course is to develop the tools and understandings to continue your mindfulness practice in your daily life. You will learn how to work with thoughts and sensations that arise. You will also learn how to deal with emotions and cultivate a positive state of mind.
We will also practice Loving Kindness because we can always use more Loving Kindness.
Who is this course for?
If you are interested in establishing a personal mindfulness practice, this is the place to start. Both beginners and those with significant experience will find this course worthwhile.
