Last weekend (20-22 September 2018) 115 students from Prem, NIS, CMIS, and Lanna attended the 6th annual International Schools of Chiang Mai Concert Band Music Festival, which was hosted by Nakornpayap International School.
Representing Prem was our entire Grade 8 cohort: the students of 8M and 8J. Congratulations!
Clinicians from PAYAP University gave instrument-specific workshops and the music directors from each school conducted the various works. The festival culminated in an afternoon concert on Saturday featuring six pieces with massed band and a guest appearance by the PAYAP University brass ensemble.
Thanks to the parents, teachers, and students who came to the concert to show your support. Thank you to Khun May for your dedication to the program and to A. Catherine, A. Brenda and A. Marie Anne for your help during the festival.
