Prem wishes to thank our Junior School Council members for all their hard work and leadership this year. Together they have listened to their peers through the Junior School ‘Wonderwall’ providing an opportunity for everyone to share ideas make our school fun. They set their own goal of supporting ‘student wellbeing’ by developing lunchtime tough rugby, football and basketball tournaments. They promoted the Premathalon and encouraged their house teammates to work hard in the Cross Country and Swim Carnival. They led Monday assemblies promoting the attributes of our Learner Profile, created the “Prem’s got Talent’ show, led lunchtime dance sessions, and set up a times table competition. So, on behalf of all Prem students, we extend our gratitude to these wonderful leaders.
The last job of the JSC was to sum up the house points from all activities, including points gathered in classrooms, for the year. With ‘Earth’ house taking out the Swim Carnival, ‘Air’ taking out the Cross Country, and ‘Water’ winning the times-table competition, there was a friendly battle right to the end. Congratulations to our winner’s Fire house, who earned 4433 points for the year, with Earth (4228), Air (4126) and Water (4110), in a close battle for 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
