We are excited to announce we have invited local musician and teacher Pahpahngkorn “Jully” Pojantuek who graduated from Natasin College of Dramatic Arts, Chiang Mai (B.Ed. music teacher) and has since then collaborated with various International Schools around Thailand. He specialised in the “Thai Zither” but is highly skilled with all Thai instruments as well as most dance traditions.
Ajarn Jully will be working with our Early Years students who will take part in an “Inquiry into Thai music” session. The Gr 1-5 students will also work with him, learning to sing Thai songs as well as practising different local instruments.
Our Gr 1-5 students will demonstrate their learning through a concert, which will take place on Wednesday 6 June 2.00 to 3.00pm in the Auditorium. The first half of the concert will host our talented students and the second half will be in the hands of “Hug Hom Tom Muan”; an extremely talented band who explores the frontiers of Fusion music between the Western and Thai classical traditions.
We are delighted to invite you all to our “TALENTED THAILAND” Junior School Concert.
