Term 3 Parent Invitational Grade 7 Concert

This term the Grade 7D and 7M classes hosted their music concert in the newly renovated music rooms on Wednesday 21 March. Joining parents and staff in the audience were students from Grade 6. These students are about to make their new instrument choices for the next two years of their time in Middle School and this was a great chance for them to hear their new instruments in a live setting.
The Grade 7 Concert Band, almost 40 members strong, performed two full ensemble pieces, “Wydham March” and “Royal Tower”. Additionally, students performed as part of small sectionals or as soloists. This was no small feat for the students, most of whom have only been playing their instruments for eight months.
Congratulations, Grade 7 Concert Band! You worked really hard to make a great concert and we look forward to having you represent our school at next year’s 6th Annual International Schools of Chiang Mai Concert Band Music Festival!
