Sustainability Spotlight

Thank you to everyone in our community who responded to the environmental survey, which was circulated in Terms 1 and 2. The Eco-Committee analysed the results, noting areas of strength and opportunity for sustainable development at Prem.

Recently, the Eco-Committee received virtual training from the World Wildlife Fund to gain a deeper understanding of sustainability projects in Thailand and to consider how the information might be applicable to Prem. The training primarily focused on composting and plastics as these are immediate areas of action following the environmental survey.

After some discussion, the Eco-Committee decided that the final project for Prem to focus on for the Green Flag accreditation visit in September is as follows: To create a communication system that supports the sharing of sustainability information across the Prem community.
