Students and Staff Shine Light on Mental Health

Mental health is often a subject associated with darkness; but at Prem last Friday, we aimed to shine some light on the issue to raise awareness and start conversations about it.  By wearing bright colours and sending in their photos, students and staff let each other know that they are there for each other – a message that resonates in these times that we find ourselves in.  One of the messages that we promote at Prem is that you need to keep checking in your mates.  Also, It’s important to know that ‘it’s ok not to be ok’ and that when we go through these tough times there are people in this community to support you.  A huge ‘shout out’ to all students and staff who wore the colours last Friday and started a conversation about mental health.
