Stretching their thinking in their summative assessment - Grade 5

The Solo Taxonomy is an assessment tool that we use in Grade 5. This is a way that as a class we can self, peer and teacher assess our performance in tasks.
The children in Grade 5 have embarked upon their summative assessment task for the first Unit Of Inquiry. The students are completing a hexagon challenge in which they can demonstrate the connections that have made to the Central idea and Lines of Inquiry. They will post a video on See Saw of their challenge along with annotations, explanations and reflections of the process and their attainment.
