Stop Motion Animation Project - Ballads

The Grade 7 English Language and Literature group have been creating their own stop-motion animation to illustrate 'The Irish Ballad' by Tom Lehrer. It's a gruesome tale of a girl who kills off her family members one by one, but we all know that ballads tend to be a bit bloody, and we chose it as a good example of this form of poetry. Besides, it's easy to show someone being chopped in two if you are using paper and scissors.

We won't give the game away by sharing the animation itself yet, but here is a behind-the-scenes video to give you a taste of what's to come.
