Elizabeth Hammond grew up and worked in rural Nottinghamshire, but in later years spread her wings (and gained a passion for working with teenagers) from Australia, Shropshire and then Cambridge. Her work has been in school boarding, where she gained a unique reputation for the effectiveness of her approach. In Cambridge she ran boarding for seven years at the St John’s College School, Harrow Bangkok beckoned and over the best part of a decade she developed the boarding houses which are now the envy of schools across Asia. She became Harrow’s Director of Development in 2013, where her relentless commitment to the ethos, reputation and achievements of the school as a whole were given full rein. Elizabeth is now delighted to move to be within Prem School where again hopes to build relationships, sharpen standards and make sure Prem International school is on everyone’s lips when talking Schools in Asia!
