Nicole Lee McGowan

Nicole was born in South Korea and grew up in Toronto, Canada where she started her social work career working with at-risk street youth and women struggling with addiction. Her first undergraduate degree was in Philosophy with an emphasis in Ethics. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree and a Master’s degree in Educational and Counseling Psychology. She has been working in the field of education for 7 years.

Nicole lives with her husband, Paul and their dog, Kami. During her spare time, she enjoys watching crime documentaries, walking Kami in the park, and visiting new coffee shops in the city.

Nicole hopes to influence and inspire her students to create positive changes within themselves, in relationships with others, and in their communities.
