Mary Ann Van De Weerd

Mary-ann is originally from NZ. She started her IB international career 16 years ago in Istanbul Turkey and has worked in Indonesia, Sudan, Switzerland. She recently returned to international teaching to join us here at Prem two years ago.

She is a passionate PYP practitioner and believes wholeheartedly that the Primary Years Programme provides many opportunities for the students to develop the skills, knowledge and ways to be that will allow them to be successful in the future of an ever changing world.

Mary-ann enjoys working with the whole school community to implement the best Primary Years programme for our students at Prem.

Mary ann also coordinates and teaches in the Junior School EAL programme providing the best support for students to develop English and enhance their language acquisition.
