Linda Buck

Linda Buck came to Prem as a House Mother in 2004 and progressed from there to Director of Boarding in 2006. Her background is in public relations and marketing, having spent fifteen years working with major airlines to set up and run their Conference and Event Handling Divisions. For her pioneer work in this field Linda won a UK Business Woman of the Year Award. As of 2017, Linda will take on the new role of Director of External Relations.

Linda relaxes by writing and has had articles published in international and national newspapers and magazines both here and in England. She has had two factual historical books published in the UK and a childrens’s book published in Thailand, with the profits helping to fund education for children in Bhutan.

Linda enjoys the opportunity of on-line study.

She completed her TEFL six years ago, and over the last few years has completed he qualification to work as a Counsellor for Children and Adolescents and has also completed her qualification as a Child Psychologist.
