Emma is from the UK and has over 20 years of experience teaching at different levels of education.
Originally a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, Emma has a strong belief in the power of lifelong learning and enjoys instilling this passion on her students.
Emma has a BSC (Hons) in Environmental Science and a PhD on Agricultural Arachnology, where her research concentrated on the implementation of spiders as elements of Integrated Pest Management programs.
Emma brings her research passions into the school and is also one of the the founders of the Asian Society of Arachnology.
Emma is an advocate for sustainability and environmental regeneration and is tackling waste plastic on campus through Precious Plastics.
Emma is also an Examiner for the IB and recently wrote an exam preparation textbook for the IBDP ESS course.
