Alison Thompson

Alison is from the UK and is a Grade 5 Homeroom teacher and Mathematics Coordinator in the Junior School. She has been a teacher for 14 years and most recently taught Grade 4 in Yangon, Myanmar. Before teaching internationally, Alison was a Secondary Mathematics Teacher and is passionate about teaching Maths for understanding. She has a BA in Geography from The University of BIrmingham and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Liverpool Hope University. In her free time, Alison enjoys baking, photography and gardening. She recently learnt how to scuba dive and loves being in or under the water.
