Sports Season Off To A Good Start

It has been a busy and exciting week for Prem sports, as our U10, U12 and U14 football teams as well as our U16 and U20 basketball teams played their first games of the season.

On Tuesday, the U20 girls basketball team hosted Varee Chiang Mai International School (VCIS) for their opening game of the season. The girls came up short in the game, but this group of enthusiastic girls will improve as the season progresses.

Also on Tuesday, the U10 football team impressed with two wins against VCIS.

On Wednesday, the U12 boys football team travelled to the American Pacific International School (APIS) and came home with a 4-0 win. On Thursday, the boys hosted Lanna International School Thailand (LIST) and won 5-1.

The U14 boys football team opened their season on Thursday with a 6-1 win over LIST. The U14 girls played an exciting game, but came up just short, 2-3.

The U16 boys basketball team displayed a great performance on Thursday afternoon and got their first win of the season against Grace International School (GIS), 45-20.

The week began with the U20 boys basketball team tipping off the season with a 64-52 win over VCIS, while the U16 boys lost a very close game. On the same day, the Junior Track and Field team hosted a successful practice meet.

A fun week of sports continues this Saturday as Prem hosts the 2015 CMAC Tennis Tournament at the Tennis Academy, starting at 8:30 am.
