SENIT Meeting Summary

Prem hosted the SENIT network meeting on 19 May 2017. The meeting was attended by 19 professionals from schools in Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Cambodia and Vietnam. In attendance was also a Speech and Language Therapist based in Chiang Mai. The theme of the meeting was “All Educators. Every Child. Supported.” There was a wide range of sessions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, supporting students struggling with different elements of language, strategies and projects for mixed-ability middle school math, hands-on activities of making affordable sensory tools, cues for speech and language development, and de-stress activities for Junior School teachers.

Feedback from the meeting was positive and everyone agreed on the need to ensure continued professional collaboration beyond the meeting.
