Senior School 'Free the Funk' on Fluro Friday

The auditorium was a sea of fluorescent colour on Friday morning as Senior School students got together to shine some light on mental health with our first ‘Fluro Friday’ of the year. In the assembly, Grade 12 hosts Seb and Maurits spread the message that we all go through tough times, but “if we look out for each other, we can get through them together.” Ajarn Jeff, with his white shoes shining, had the audience bopping along to the funky message that we all need to ‘keep singing our own song’ and Armand highlighted the fact that music plays a key role in making us feel great, with a commanding rap performance. The spirit shown by our Senior School students during the break and lunchtime activities demonstrated that students at Prem really understand the need to highlight the issue of mental health and how important it is to look out for each other.
