Senior School Cross Country Meet

On Thursday, 30th November, Prem hosted the first Senior School Cross Country meet of the year. With a new course that went out through the farm, all runners saw the beauty of the rice fields and hills behind Prem and ran on a real off-road track.

In addition, new distances have been added meaning that all JV and Varsity runners ran 5km, which was an increase from last year. Our runners, coached by Ajarn Simon and Ajarn Casey, ran extremely well against teams from GIS, Chiang Rai, NIS, APIS and CMIS.

Noa (G6) came first in the U12 boys’ race, Jack (G8) came second in the U14 boys’ race and all our runners finished in the top 10 of their age group which is a great achievement as we have a relatively small team compared to other schools such as Grace.

After the Christmas break, there will be further cross-country races taking place at Grace and APIS. Well done to all Prem runners!
