Sawasdee, Udvozoljuk, Selmat Datang, Merhaba, Bienvenidos, How’s it goin, eh?

These represent the greetings I have learned so far during my stays around the world and I am most pleased to be able to add the Thai greeting!  I am looking forward to learning and using many more greetings from new friends on campus.

Our first days of school have gotten off to a rocking start with two full days of orientation for both new and returning students.  Today regular classes are in full swing and we are working on establishing routines.

Attached are a couple of images of our IB Diploma students orientation during which they have been brainstorming strategies to create a more unified group of DP year one and two (grade 11 & 12) students so that we might all benefit from each other’s support and drive for excellence.

Thank you to the many people who have already taken the time to introduce themselves to me – I look forward to meeting all of you over the coming days, weeks, and months ahead.

My wish for everyone is a tremendous year of intense, challenging and fun learning experiences as we work to bring to life our vision of striving for excellence.

Let the fun and challenge begin!

Warmest Regards,

Paul
