Boarding News: Adapting and Thriving!
The first week back after Christmas break we have risen once again to the challenges of the current COVID situation […]
Every two weeks, all boarding staff will assign a certain night to do room inspections in each cluster of boarding.
The inspection usually starts after Prep Time, between 20:00-20:40.
The boarder will be notified on the evening of the inspection because they need to be in their rooms during the inspection to receive comments about their rooms.
Room inspections not only to check the rooms but also act as a great time to encourage the boarders to develop their self-care and self-discipline. It’s also a great time for boarding staff and boarders to build the rapport by chatting and getting to know about each more. The goals we expect from our inspections, are to make our boarders learn to take care of themselves, practice responsibility and to create a tighter community relationship between boarders and staff.
