Prem’s Artist Residency Thailand programme has been excited to collaborate with the International Schools Theatre Association Executive/Artistic Director, Dinos has been working with staff, students, parents and community members to explore what creativity looks like in learning, as well as providing ‘theatre-arts’ specific workshops to our grade 8 and grade 11 students.
A highlight of the week was our community workshop that explored some of the following:
This workshop had the Three-Generation vision at its heart and saw parents, teachers and young people all engaging together, exploring and learning together.
It’s worth highlighting that ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association) are one of our key partners in the development of ‘education for creativity’ here at Prem. This residency also focused on a really exciting, strategic development component that will see our campus and our Artist Residency Thailand programme sit at the centre of a new ‘International Centre for Creative Development’, providing training for teachers, artists and young people, hosting conferences and international seminars, as well as providing our existing performing arts festivals on an annual basis.
