Reaccreditation Success

The last time I wrote to you it was to inform you that the Council of International Schools (CIS) had approved our reaccreditation, which was wonderful news. Since that communication, I can confirm that we have also received similar confirmation from the International Baccalaureate for all four of our approved programmes.
Most recently the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) has informed us that their Board has approved our reaccreditation, which places us in a very strong position in terms of the work that we have completed to date set against stringent objective standards and guidelines.
These reaccreditation successes did not happen by chance. Rather they are the justifiable results of the systematic work of many people. It has been in fact the product of a genuine community approach to what could so easily have appeared as a daunting proposition.
On Friday 23 February a representative of the Council of International Schools (CIS) will be present in a special assembly to formally hand us our reaccreditation plaque. This is a legitimate opportunity for us to reflect on our accomplishment and you are cordially invited to share that special moment with us. Specific information about the assembly will follow.
