Previous ARThailand resident Paula Di Perna joins TEDx Chiang Mai Countdown event

Prem’s programme Artist Residency Thailand, was delighted to welcome past resident Paula Di Perna to collaborate with the recent Chiang Mai TEDx Countdown event. A Global activist often described as the ‘Greta Thunberg’ of the seventies and eighties, Paula’s exhaustive work has seen her writing and producing films with the late Jaques Cousteau, advising multiple US presidents on environmental and climate policy, lobbying to ban drilling in Alaska and working with Prem students to enhance their understanding of the complexity of issues relating to the environment.
On this occasion Paula talked to assembled TEDx delegates to talk about solutions to climate change including the importance of recognising diversity, understanding how precious water is and finding ways to incentivise projects that address climate-change issues. She talked fondly about her time in Chiang Mai and her desire to return and work with Prem again in the future.
