Premathalon 2019: True Grit!

On Friday 15th November students from all sections of the school took part in the Premathalon. For the JS participants this meant completing a triathlon starting with swimming, then cycling and finally running to the finish line. The Senior school students undertook a longer duathlon entailing swimming, and then running.

There were many amazing athletic performances, not only from the winners of places in the various categories, but throughout the whole event Prem students demonstrated impressive endurance and resilience. Every student who crossed the finish line should consider themselves a winner!

The event was well supported by students, staff and parents, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our thanks to the PSC for providing refreshments, the CP students who also sold coffee, DJ Maurits for the energizing tunes, and Baan Dek (the organisation the event was raising funds for – they are a children’s charity that work in North Thailand). Thanks to Prem teaching staff for stewarding the event and all the support staff who helped make it run so smoothly. Special thanks to the athletics staff and to Aj.Lee for organising and running the event, we are very lucky to have such a great team!
