Prem students support Kingdom Kids

Continuing an incentive started by Ajarn Relle Maxwell, Leczin, Prem Grade 10 student, was proud to be able to hand over a cheque to Robyn Collins the founder of Kingdom kids.

Kingdom kids is an Orphanage and school for less fortunate children not far from Prem. Their goal is to facilitate the development of the children by teaching them physical, social and educational skills. English and communication skills alongside life skills are a strong focus says, Robyn, as she feels this will provide them with opportunities in Thailand’s thriving Hospitality Industry.

Robyn said this money will go towards repairing and providing more bicycles for the children as a means of transport and to promote physical activity for them.

Ajarn Luke’s Grade 9 and 10 Hospitality students planned, organised and ran the 2017 Dancefest this year. Ajarn Luke said that events like Dancefest are a perfect medium not only to donate to such a worth cause but also because it combines many aspects of the Hospitality Industry and was a perfect and very authentic learning experience for his students.

A big thank you also to Ajarn Dave for supporting the operations and program of Dancefest and of course to all of the students that helped organise and dance on the night.

Robyn would like to make it very clear how important this money is for Kingdom kids and wishes to thank each and every person involved in Dancefest for working together to raise this money. She is humbled by this show of compassion and support.
