Prem shortlisted for prestigious, global award

The finalists for the prestigious 2021 International Schools Awards have been announced and we are delighted to have had our Artist Residency Thailand programme shortlisted in the ‘international impact’ category.

From nearly three hundred entries from sixty two countries, Prem is one of only three schools selected in this category from what the award body described as, ‘an unprecedented number of ‘high-quality’ applications’. The eleven renowned judges shortlisted initiatives that had a ‘clear, positive impact within their locality and on a global scale and that Included strategies that could be shared beyond the wider school community’.

Prem’s Head of School Rachel Keys said “It’s an honour to have our school and our work recognised and for Prem to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award”

Prem’s Creative Director and founder of the ARThailand initiative Alex Soulsby stated “Our excellent academic offer ensures that our students have all of the necessary skills to build a successful life, but it is through creative engagement and programmes like this, that we help our students develop the skills to live a successful life”

Upon hearing the news of the ISA shortlisting, Prem’s founder Mom Tri, an artist and architect himself responded “This is fantastic news, just fantastic!”

The International School Awards are hosted by ISC Research with the support of International School Leader Magazine. Winners will be announced and recognised at a virtual awards ceremony on Monday 18th January 2021
