Prem Runners show their Speed

On Thursday, November 30 Prem hosted the first Senior Cross Country meet of the CMAC year. Using the scenic paths that run through the Three Generation Farm and beyond, it is a real Traill run, which the other competitors love to come out to. This meant that we had over 120 runners in three distance/age categories running at Prem. The U14’s ran 2km, the JV runners ran 3k and the Varsity runners ran 5k. Prem has a small but dedicated cross country team led both both A. Simon’s and A. Casey. Even though the team is only small they won a large percentage of the medals on offer:

U14 Boys: Noa (G7) Gold
U14 Girls: Kokomi (G6) Silver
JV Boys: Jack (G9) Gold
JV Girls: Tsendra (G12) Gold
Varsity Boys: Oliver (G11) Silver
Varsity Girls: Pim (G12) Bronze

All the runners did a fantastic job and we will have more runners out at the next meet at GIS (January 18) and the final CMAC meet (January 29). Well done agin Prem Cross Country Team.
