The Northern Thai junior federation hosted its second tournament of the season at Mae Moh, Lampang. Prem students TJ and Kevin were in attendance. Two very passionate competitors who have set their sights on turning professional soon.
TJ finished second runner up bringing home his very first trophy from the Northern Thai Junior federation. TJ has climbed the ladder in his age group rather quickly, improving consistently and working relentlessly to improve his game. One of the most exciting highlights of his performance was a strong finish under immense pressure as he was competing with top level competition in his age group. The tournament took place in a Golf course 100 kms from home and one that he is completely unfamiliar with. It was his first experience outside his comfort zone and he did exceptionally well.
Kevin finished in first place in his age group with a clear 3 shot lead. He is currently leading the NTJGF tournaments (Northern Thai Junior Golf federation) on a very high level. An incredible feat for such a young Golfer. Kevin is already shooting scores, similar to Golf professionals has now qualified for the International True visions tournament in Pattaya in April. The undulating slopes and varying green speeds did not deter our competitors from their ultimate goals.
A good win for Prem Golf with many more to come.
