Prem Fall Classic Football Tournament is bigger that ever!

This year our Prem Fall Classic Varsity and Junior Varsity football tournament were bigger and better than ever. Although it looked like the rain might beat us, the weather gods were kind and the sun came out making the pitches and the tournament perfect for football. This year we had teams from Yangoon, Chiang Rai, Bangkok as well as local Chiang Mai teams. All in all, over the two days there were 55 matches, hundreds of goals and four champions crowned. The Prem teams did a great job with our JV girls team losing in the final versus Grace, however, they were very unlucky and had played a fantastic tournament. Our Varsity girls also played an excellent Semi Final taking the overwhelming favourites Grace to penalty kicks and nearly beating them, losing by a whisker. Our Varsity boys played a tight 3/4 place game vs CMIS, just losing to finish fourth and our JV boys team notched up their first victories of the year. All in all, it was a great tournament and we are looking forward to even more teams attending next year.

Special thanks to the PSC, A. March, Prem student volunteers and the Prem operations crew for making the tournament possible.
