Prem Fall Classic Football Tournament 2019

On Friday and Saturday last week Prem hosted the “Prem Fall Classic Invitational JV + Varsity Football Tournament”. Our sports facilities were incredibly busy as the participating nine international schools competed on all our pitches. The schools involved were PTIS, GIS, ASB, ISM, TCIS, ISY,CMIS, LIST and CRICS. These teams came from Myanmar, Bangkok, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai.

The first day of the tournament was a little wet and consequently a little muddy….. but spirits were high as was the standard of play throughout. Our players showed great skill, good sportsmanship and made lots of new friends over the two day tournament.

All of our teams performed above expectations with the JV girls ending up as champions, the Varsity girls losing on penalties in the semi-finals, the Varsity boys coming in 3rd place after narrowly losing 1-0 by last minute goals to both the finalists and the JV boys playing great games against older and more experienced opponents.

Our thanks once again to Aj.Lee Stevens for his excellent organization of this event, and all of the PTIS team coaches and staff who made this fantastic two day competition such a success. Thank you also to the PSC parents for their work, and all the student volunteers and supporters. Finally, thanks to all the support staff (Operations team, transport team, canteen, nurses, VSP), who made this tournament possible.
